BIOGRAPHY

     I have always been fascinated with art, architecture and nature. Drawing and painting have strengthened my appreciation for them. Capturing the beautiful colors, contrasts of light and dark, and textures of nature is my way of enjoying the bucolic scenery made by God.  

     I chose a path  in my career where I may influence children to have a love for art and use their creativity.  I have taught art for the past 19 years in the public school system.  

     In my spare time I have dabbled with various media and love exploring the processes.  I have found watercolors and pen and ink to be a way to capture color and detail of places were memories are made and that touch your heart.

     I began with an idea of a Christmas gift of my childhood home for my parents. Then continued with gifts for my siblings and their homes.  I found great joy in creating these cherished keepsakes and want to offer that to others.
