Marilyn Roveland has 30 years of experience painting and drawing on order.

Educated: Degree in Advertising Art & Design-State University of NY Studied Painting and Drawing at the Art Students League in NYC Fine Arts Major at Binghamton University, Binghamton NY

Published: Illustrations for Cornell University, Catskill Life Magazine and many local publications.

Exhibited: Extensively appears at shows in Binghamton, Oneonta , Cooperstown , Delhi and New York City.

Teaches: Ongoing classes in Watercolor and Drawing.

Obtained: Grants for local Art Centers. Recently received a grant to paint and photograph the downtown historic buildings in Morris, NY - administered the Grant and recruited the artists as well as contributing her own paintings to a final exhibit. It is planned that eventually they will paint and/or photograph all of the historic homes and buildings in the town which will then be a permanent exhibition in the Butternut Valley Arts & Crafts Center in Morris.
